I had upgraded some of my bathrooms earlier in the game, but now my Con has only the outhouses, mainly grouped in twos and fours, with Clock Deco Items to increase cleaning time, and Poster Column Deco Items to increase capacity. This way, when a toilet breaks down, I’m only loosing 5 seats in a collection of 10 or 20, and it only takes a few minutes to fix. The larger the facility, the more seats you lose when broken, and the longer it will take to fix it. The outhouses also cost a lot less to build 🙂

PJ, feel free to delete this tip if you feel it makes the other toilet facilities obsolete.

No it’s a good tip, and helps us modify for the more expensive toilets to make them worth it.

Cool! Let us know when the modifications come out. I really loved that high-end toilet with the Swan, but it just wasn’t economical.

I like the ‘medium’ toilets best. I sprinkle them around the edges of my con ‘circles (my con is arranged in ‘rings’). The best part is that they are ‘walkthrough’ so they provide entrances into the con without wasting space!

I had some of the medium toilets in my first Con that crashed. I positioned one near the entrance, and always smiled when Jack Moore walked through it every time he came by for a surprise visit 🙂 When I rebuilt, I decided to just go with the small toilets and save my money for booths. I could afford to upgrade now, but I do like the fact that when a small toilet breaks down, I only lose a few seats.

I’ve got the “medium” toilets scattered all about my con. I have two fancy ones on opposite ends, as the swans were interesting, but with the boosts you can add to them, folks have been plenty happy. Especially now that they’re scattered all over randomly in some rows… Personally I’d be a bit grossed out with toilets amongst the booths, but hey, it’s their money they’re happily giving me!

Mine don’t break down too much, and they’re not *too* long to fix. My outhouses were always breaking down… I also like that the medium are more compact, and thus easier to move around if I need to (plus that whole walk-through ability!)
