As you level up, more expensive booths will become available to you. In a video somewhere, Nathan said he felt bad about replacing his mom-and-pop-shop booths with higher end booths, and it did make me stop and think. Fortunately, this is a game, and as much as I feel for inanimate objects (when I was little I slept with all of my stuffed animals so none of them would feel unloved), I have indeed replaced all my booths with the $20,000 one that has a return of $1,350. Compared to the two higher level booths, this one gives the best return for the space required. The only drawback with the high-yield booths is that they do take longer to sell out. Once you collect/restock, it will take hours for another check mark to appear.

Because I’m a Mission Freak, I don’t collect from my exhibitor booths until I get a Mission that requires it (restocking booths, collecting phone numbers or bourbon balls, finding Bobbie’s keys, etc), or at the end of a gaming session when I know I won’t be playing again for several hours.

I’ve also scattered several of the Used Fish food vendors around my Con in a grid formation (each with a Con Bag-boosting Buff), so that as I scroll around I can collect from them on a regular basis, increasing my chances for Con Bags and helping with the above Missions if I get two in a row and have already collected from most of my exhibitor booths.

I do collect from all my food and theme booths as they become full. If you let those slide, con-goers will complain in the Crowd Feed asking for more food and themed booths.

Whoa. Had a thought after posting about my preference for the high-yield $20,000 exhibitor booth. Because the lower-yield booths require restocking/collection more often, it’s possible there’s a booth that earns as much Con Cash in the time it takes for a high-yield booth to fill up once, with the added advantage of more check marks to tap towards Missions and Con Bags.
If I get around to doing an experiment with this, I’ll post my results. In the meantime, don’t replace all your booths just yet 🙂

My big tip is when you have a LOT of booths from which to collect (for example, first thing in the morning after you sleep, when they’re all ready to go) hire Nathan/Jack Moore. He ups your chance for con bags, and I easily find that I earn back the 25 comix it takes to hire him.

I’ve been hiring Jack, and Jun is so right!! Thanks, Jun! Also, I did do a test with the most likely cheaper booth to possibly earn as much as the $20,000 one in the same amount of time, and it didn’t even come close. I’ve replaced it with another $20,000 booth. I don’t harvest as often, but I’m raking in about a million a day!
